On Monday 5th July, the Fab Lab team and the Sandwell Ed Tech project team were honoured to present at the national Blended Learning Consortium's 2021 Conference.
In front of a (virtual!) audience of over 80 teaching professionals we discussed the objectives, execution and findings of our 'Smart Glasses' retail project.
Anne gave a fabulous introduction to the Fab Lab and then Debbie, Mo, Tom and I all participated in a discussion and product demonstration, whilst also answering questions from the audience (think This Morning meets Question Time!).
However, despite great performances from all, the true star of the team was Loomo ... who made a guest appearance at the end and stole the show! We think a career in entertainment could be beckoning ....
