About us

Who we are

Welcome to our blog!  We are a group of further education (FE) teachers at Sandwell College, who are also Ed Tech enthusiasts. In this project, funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority, we are trialing the use of various types of smart glasses for assessment purposes. We teach a range of subjects including professional and management studies, motor vehicle and construction. We wanted to write a blog and share our reflections with you as we learn more about the technology and how we can use it in a meaningful way to make a difference to learning. We hope you enjoy reading about our experiences - and for the teachers out there, we hope you will be inspired to use more technology in your own practice!
